- From May 30th to June 1st, 2010 we held our 17th annual conference in Niagara Falls and again by all accounts is was very successful! About 130 of your colleagues got together to discuss Risk Management for Canadian consumers and small businesses. A blend of general sessions, breakout sessions, networking and learning resulted in a great conference - that's what over 80% of our attendees said. CSRSA Members can access the actual presentations by logging into our website (www.csrsa.org) and selecting Links and Presentations. If you're not a member its easy to join, details and benefits of becoming a member can also be found on our website under Memberships - now is the time to join and enjoy a full years worth of benefits (August 2010 to July 2011).
Mark your calendars now for the 2011 Annual Conference - Sunday May 29th to Tuesday May 31st, 2011 which will be held in Collingwood, Ontario at Blue Mountain.
- For our September General Session, the CSRSA is pleased to have Nancy Patterson, Senior Fraud Specialist from Genworth Financial present an overview of fraud within the Canadian Mortgage industry. Nancy will be discussing recent trends in mortgage fraud, best practices on how to identify and mitigate fraud and what mortgage lenders can do to improve recoveries. This session will provide you with an interesting and informative update of what is trending specifically within the mortgage industry and should provide you with further insights on how you can help fight it within your own area.
